Abstract

In this study, we design a cognitive-support system for automatic skin diagnosis using a tablet PC. The system enables automatic imaging of the skin in order to perform ongoing diagnostics on the user's skin when he or she operates a tablet PC daily. The tablet PC camera detects and photographs the user's face during tablet use. The system periodically stores diagnostic results by extracting the skin region from an image that has been captured and skin imaged.
