In this study, weft knitted constructions such plain jersey, Lacoste, waffle, fleece, and rib are evaluated in relation to a number of attributes, including dimensional stability, fabric breadth, spirality and bursting strength. According to the study, lengthwise shrinkage reduces as tuck stitch and spirality grow, however widthwise shrinkage rises. Abstract
