Abstract

Fabric structure exhibits a significant impact on the various properties of weft knitted fabric if processing variables such as yarn count, stitch length, machine diameter, and needle gauge are modified. In this study, weft knitted constructions such plain jersey, Lacoste, waffle, fleece, and rib are evaluated in relation to a number of attributes, including dimensional stability, fabric breadth, spirality and bursting strength.
