Abstract
This paper proposes the design of a wearable Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) tag at 2.45 GHz for indoor localization and path monitoring of self-sufficient or dependent subjects living in their daily life environments or in retirement homes. The key points of the tag implementation are the reduced dimensions, compatible with a pendant or a brooch, the limited thickness thanks to its particular feeding, and the proved possibility to be leant on the body surface.
