Abstract

Using the data of the observations at auroral observatory Molodezhnaya (Antarctic,L = 6.3), a similarity is found in the shape of the wave packets amplitudes envelope ofgiant pulsations to solitons. The relation is analyzed between the maximum amplitude (A),the carrier in frequency (f), and the width of wave packets (τ) for 30 cases of observationsof the Pg pulsations having the form of separated wave packets. It is shown that themaximum amplitude of wave packets depends linearly on 1/τ√f. We suggest that some Pgpulsations present nonlinear structures having the properties of solutions.
