Abstract

Natural conditions in the circumpolar region are unfavorable for the inhabitants who live there. Because the inhabitants of the skin phototype are in the special risk group for melanoma, it is necessary to carry out preventive diagnostics regularly. Long distances and a small population of the territory of the circumpolar region allow the creation of specialized dermatological centers only in large settlements. In the remaining points, general practitioners examine the patients. The quality of diagnosis of skin diseases depends largely on the experience and qualifications of the doctor. For high-quality diagnostics, general practitioners need a device that allows for several indicators to give an expert assessment of a neoplasm. We have created the concept of a device that helps the doctor to identify melanoma.
