Abstract
In this article are described the modification principles of the digital radiographic units with the linear tomography mode to units with the tomosynthesis mode. It is seen advantages and disadvantages of the radiography, tomography and tomosynthesis modes. It is seen the way the reduction patient dose in comparison with the multislice computer tomography examination. It is told why the tomosynthesis mode significantly expands the diagnostic capabilities of radiography without significantly increasing the patient dose.
