Abstract

A novel microstrip-fed patch antenna for the fifth generation (5G) mobile communication N79 band is proposed and verified. The proposed antenna is printed on one front and back surface of the printed circuit board (PCB) for simple layout. The measured relative bandwidth reaches to 12.8% (4.4-5 GHz) and the entire size of the antenna is $30 \times 26$ mm$^{2}$ only.
