Visions and pathways to quality education in Serbia

Abstract

In this paper we analyze evaluation frame of educational system of Republic of Serbia in preuniversity education, through three basic components: external evaluation and selfevaluation of educational institutions, national examinations, and national and international testing and assessments. Guidelines and directions for future period are proposed, based on experience from previous period and based on evaluation of our education system, implemented by OECD. A comprehensive proposal for the concept of the future framework for the evaluation of the education system of the Republic of Serbia in the field of preuniversity education is given.
