Kelley SobelAbstract: Any reviewer of software engineering education will quickly conclude that there is no general agreement on organizational placement of software engineering within institutions of higher education. At the same time, it seems clear that finding the right organizational fit may substantially affect the long-term success of software engineering education. This panel will present a variety of organizational approaches and discuss the implications of those approaches on software engineering education.
