Abstract
The advantages of laser optoacoustic technique [1] in comparison with the traditional acoustic methods based on piezo-transducers are very high space and time resolutions and the absence of contact to the sample. They make this technique very promising for numerous tasks of non-destructive testing (NDT). In addition, the nonlinear acoustic techniques in NDT should provide an improvement of contrast of defects detection of closed cracks [2]. The goal of our work is the application of nonlinear acoustic methods in laser optoacoustics. It is expected, that such a combination of two modern techniques should find an application in the industry.
