The Influence of Quran o Sunnah on Iqbal’s thought: A critical review

Abstract

The focus of Iqbal's thought is on the Qur'an and Hadith which has played a prominent role in the formation of Islamic society. This article reveals a how Surah Al-Noor has been reflected in Iqbal’s poetry and validated the proposition that Iqbal takes a huge influence from Quran and its teachings. The intellectual and technical aspects of Iqbal's poetry may be ciphered better through the Qur'an
