Abstract

Due to the increasingly less differences between physical products, most enterprises have implemented differentiated marketing with the point of view of service to avoid intense price competition with rival makes, which lets service play an increasingly important role in the cultivation of competitive advantage. However, service innovation activities often require complex knowledge and resources. On the one hand, many core knowledge and resources are not usually owned by a single enterprise, but embedded in the relationship network. On the other hand, knowledge sharing provides an important role in the information or resource acquisition and the service innovation realization of enterprise. Therefore, this paper introduces the intermediate variables of knowledge sharing, and constructs a conceptual model to analyze the influence of network embeddedness on the service innovation of enterprises.
