Abstract

Deserts are the areas of arid ecosystem which make vegetal and animal life difficult to sustain. The process which makes desert is called desertification. It also faces the loss of fertile topsoil at desert boundaries and usually caused by a combination of drought and the over exploitation of grasses and other vegetation by people. Desert sand dunes being soft, are more prone to erosion whether wind or water.
