Abstract
The article presents an economic and financial analysis of the thermal rehabilitation solutions of an educational institution. The paper is structured on three parts: theoretical aspects regarding the economic and financial analysis, buildings energy consumption, case study.Rehabilitation of thermo-technical buildings leads to an increase in their durability and a considerable decrease in operating costs in conditions of increased comfort. Reducing the energy consumptions required for a healthy and comfortable indoor environment can be achieved by applying passive measures associated with minimal energy consumption, integrated into the architectural and constructive design of the building. The basic procedure for comparing the technical and economic effects of the application of the various building rehabilitation solutions is the analysis of the net updated value of the costs involved in the realization of the investments and the exploitation of the related installations.
