IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc) and Its Accomplishments in 2021

Abstract

IT IS A privilege to serve for the fourth year as the President of the IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc). Despite the continuous challenges of the global pandemic COVID19 and its impacts, the CTSoc managed to do well in 2021 as I had the pleasure to work with a dedicated CTSoc Executive Committee, CTSoc Board of Governors, several CTSoc Committees along with hundreds of CTSoc volunteers from industry and academia to make substantial accomplishments in many pillars of CTSoc activities such as finance, conferences, publications, technical activities, membership development, education activities, operations and planning, industry and standards, and governing documents. I will highlight these accomplishments in 2021 in the following section.
