Mrs. Elinor Yehezkel working visit to the USA in the first year of research stood at the basis of the establishment of an isolation protocol for anammox bacteria in the Israeli lab. Dr. Yossi Tal's two visits to Israel were important in the reevaluation of the various protocols concerned with the isolation of anammox bacteria and the operation of the fish culture systems in both countries. The joint research has thus far resulted in one joint scientific publication in which findings from both labs were combined.
