Abstract
A novel all-optical pulse multiplication approach enabling one to create a high-repetition-rate pulse train with both high energy-efficiency and no amplitude and timing distortion is proposed, which is based on a doubly-sampled spectral filter utilizing a fiber Bragg grating.
