Abstract

The article deals with the definition of the concept of public policy and its delineation with state policy in the context of the criteria of their classifications; an understanding of the essence of public policy in the sense of a single concept of public space is given; Basic characteristics of public policy are provided. The process of formation and formation of public policy in Ukraine is considered. The scientific understanding of the main features of the state, within which public policy unfolds, is carried out. The directions of further researches in the sense of mechanisms of development and realization of public policy are offered.
