Abstract
The methodology and results of the assessment of the adhesive strength of the fiber—matrix system are presented. Carbon and basalt fibers were used, a composition of epoxy resin and an amine hardener was used as a polymer matrix. The results of strength tests for assessing the adhesive strength by the pull-out method are presented, using two types of samples: macro and micro, differing in the accuracy of determining the contact area between the fiber and the polymer matrix. It has been established that the values of adhesive strength when testing micro-samples, for the manufacture of which elementary fibers were used, are lower, but the accuracy of its determination is significantly higher than when using macro-samples.
