Internet technologies, including the Web, Web browsers, and search engines, have provided unprecedented opportunities for conducting business online. Together, these technologies enable the creation of Web-based information systems, which are changing market dynamics and the way companies conduct business. This article presents a framework for an internetworked business model using Web-based information systems.
