An Investigation on Appearance of Ambiguous Motion Perception Field and Window Period Motion Perception Field in Two Forms from angles of the threshold boundaries

Abstract

This paper is stage study of the large research framework from “Study on Motion Perception in Various Forms,” it is focus on observing the appearance key and factors of “ambiguous motion perception field” and “window period motion perception field” from angles of the threshold boundaries. The study found: The two forms with different side numbers would produce the status change of motion perception when the rotational speed to the critical point, that will change from a type of motion perception to another motion perception and “ambiguous motion perception field” would appear in intervals with slow speeds, when the fewer side numbers and fast rotation velocity, “ambiguous motion perception field” will get large. In the fast intervals, “window period motion perception fields” would appear, whole forms with difference velocity thresholds, the “window period motion perception fields” still keep isometric separation.
