Abstract

An image is the collection of some focused and non focused objects. Focused objects are treated as decisive objects of an image which helps a user in decision making. The objects in an image are the geometric shapes needed to be identified. Geometric shape of an image depends on the outer edges which are known as contour of that image. The proposed method extracts the contour of decisive objects from an image. Morphological operators empower the proposed method to achieve the goal. The proposal compared with several traditional edges detection techniques with respect to desired output and computation time to ensure its efficiency.
