Hence disturbances during transient events get reflected in teager energy function and as a result it gives sharper spikes in its consecutive value at event inception time. Abstract

The occurrence of transient events in AC microgrid creates disturbances in steady-state characteristics of bus voltage and current waveforms. These transient events need to be characterized by some feature vector set.
