Abstract

Disease diagnosis usually is done by a doctor; however, the number of doctors is still far from ideal condition. Expert systems are becoming a solution and have been widely used for disease diagnosis. This paper proposes an expert system using forward chaining and certainty factor to diagnose symptoms of digestive tract diseases in children.
