Abstract

As the active medium of triglycerides optical biosensor the cholesteric-nematic mixtures (CNM) are proposed to use. The efficiency to detect the triglycerides molecules caused by sensitivity the CNM helical structure to the biological substances. The position of wavelength transmittance minimum of optical radiation in CNM contacted with biological agents is changed. The block diagram of the developed triglyceride sensor is designed.
