Malignant Fibrous Histiocytoma

Abstract

Malignant fibrous histiocytoma is the most common soft tissue sarcoma in adults but is rare as a primary cutaneous tumor. It has a male predilection with a peak incidence between the fifth and sixth decades of life. Malignant fibrous histiocytoma predominantly occurs in the extremities. We report a case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma presenting in the hallux of the right foot.
