The proposed antenna array is structured as 3D profile with solar panel integration. The antenna element is constructed from a patch layer of two rings mounted on a Roger substrate of a 3.5 dielectric constant with 2mm thickness. Nevertheless, the antenna array is integrated to a solar panel for self-powered wireless communication systems. The proposed antenna is found to show a frequency resonance at 3.5GHz and another band from 4GHz up to 6GHz. The antenna provides a gain of 3dBi and 3.5dBi at 3.5 GHz and 5 GHz, respectively. For the proposed antenna CST MWS software package is used to optimize the antenna structure.
