Abstract

We propose a new way for computation of local wave number or instantaneous frequency, which is used in adaptive artificial boundary conditions using for nonlinear 1D Schrödinger equation. Computer simulation results, obtained by using of this method, are compared with corresponding results obtained by solving this equation with zero-value boundary condition for enough bigger size of domain and demonstrated the efficiency of proposed method.
