Abstract

The aim of the article is to introduce readers a rich history of social and health care development in Hradec Králové. At the same time to point out selected examples of good practice that lead to the development and maintenance of quality and accessible network of social and related services in the territory, as well as fulfilling the goals and measures of the city's pro-family and pro-senior policy and building teamwork within the implementation of the agendas of the Department of Social Affairs and Health Care, all in the frame of current activities in this field.
