This method is suited for star configuration Static Var Generator (SVG), and implemented easily. The compensation operation not influences the cells switching frequency and could achieve excellent performance under each working conditions. Abstract

Multilevel cascaded H-bridge (CHB) converter have been presented as a good solution for high-power applications. This paper has a comprehensive discussion on converter model, especially on the dead time and switches forward voltage, so as to reduce the influence of that compensation performance factor.
