Abstract
The goal of this contribution is to describe issues in automotive radar signal processing caused by radiowave propagation in real scenarios. A few physical phenomena negatively influence a radar sensor's performance from its function point of view. Origins of those phenomena are explained and mitigation techniques of the issues are presented. Practical examples on real data are shown.
