Abstract

New elements have been added to the picture that appears to be composed of many different languages, religions and nationalities in the Ottoman social structure, with the migrations from the Caucasus, Crimea and the Balkans since the 19th century. One of the many elements among them is the Turkish and Muslim Crimean people. With this research; Examining the policies adopted by the Ottoman Empire in the settlement of the Crimean Tatars, the support they provided to the immigrants during the resettlement, the contributions of the Crimean Tatar diaspora to the local culture as a result of these migrations, and the sociological effects of the Crimean Tatars' homeland visit potentials and the tourism movements resulting from the Crimean Tatars' visits to the homeland on society and individuals. It is aimed to evaluate the studies. As a result of the research; It is concluded that the motivations of these tourism movements, which the Crimean Tatars went to Crimea to visit their homeland and relatives, the changes in their sense of belonging to the homeland as a result of these visits, the changes in their cultural attachments, and the increase or decrease in their sense of return will contribute to the literature. has been reached.
