Abstract

Mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs) enable operation without fixed infrastructure, making them attractive for disaster search and rescue (SAR) and tactical applications. Reliability is an issue in such applications and increasing MANET communication reliability is critical for the acceptance of these systems.
