Abstract

This paper discusses the design of an integrated audio preamplifier, which provides programmable gain from -60 dB to 0 dB and can be interfaced to either balanced or unbalanced audio signal sources. Performance in terms of SDR and SNR are Hi-Fi compatible. The amplifier is part of a more complex analog ASIC, implemented in a 2 /spl mu/m, /spl plusmn/12.5 V supply, BiCMOS technology.
