Based on the principle of multi-layer microstrip patch antenna, the shear/pressure sensor consists of a microstrip patch antenna and a U-shaped director. The U-shaped director is separated from the radiation element of the patch antenna using a soft dielectric material. Abstract
This paper presents a simultaneous shear and pressure sensor for prosthetic socket monitoring.
