The cavity of the device is shared between the laser's optical field (the pump of the OPO) and the signal radiation emitted by the OPO. The length of the cavity doesn't exceed 10 mm that should hopefully favor for a single mode operational regime without any frequency selective elements (e.g. Fabry-Perot etalons).
