In order to prolong the system time usage and guarantee security, in this paper, we propose a light controller based on fuzzy logic and future traffic forecast, which adapts the brightness of street lamps according to road demand and the battery’s remaining energy. First, we developed a model for traffic forecasting based on a real-world dataset. Then the light controller is validated by simulation in Matlab. Abstract
