Policy implications

Abstract

This is the second policy chapter, and will pull from the entire book, plus any useful examples from case studies, to set forth policy recommendations for technology transformation, modal choice and rider behavior, private land use and development for both reuse of parking structures and new land subdivisions, zoning and parking regulations, public subsidy, and various ethical/indirect effects of DV development during the next 15 to 30 years in the US (2035–2050), i.e., the long run.
