The paper summarizes the research status at home and abroad from the following three aspects: electricity consumption behavior and load elasticity, load elasticity modeling and elasticity identification and aggregation effect of load elasticity. Then, it introduces the research challenges and development trends: it is necessary to study the concept and depictive method of axiomatic load elasticity measure and establish axiomatic load elasticity measure index. The typical load elasticity description and modeling method can be studied by means of data-physical doubly drive. Abstract

With the increase of the proportion of new energy, the regulation resources on the power plant side of the power system are weakened. Mining the load elasticity and transforming it into system regulation resources, and building a new system regulation mode of “source-storage-demand” coordination has become a significant demand of the new power system.
