The results of this research showed that phosphate fertilization had no significant effect on forage production and had significant effect on the crude protein content of Bengal grass. The average value of fresh forage production of Bengal grass was 9,35 – 14,23 g/polybag, dry matter production of Bengal grass was 1,8 – 2,74 g/polybag. Abstract

A research of production and crude protein content of Bengal grass (Panicum maximum) was conducted from March to May 2019 at the Research Field Agrostology, Forage Crop Laboratory and Feed Chemical Livestock laboratory Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Padjadjaran, Jatinangor, Sumedang.
