Abstract

In this paper we have proposed a model which acts as a weather station and a rain detector and is solely solar powered. The model is designed in such a way that it can be used remotely and the readings are displayed on a user friendly LCD display and are displayed as digital numeric values. The weather station includes a remote station for monitoring the weather powered by a solar panel, and a base station to display data.
