Abstract

Detection of multiple targets in high dynamic range and noise varying environment is a great challenge of modern radar techniques. Traditional CFAR algorithms cannot provide reliable detection of all targets in such sophisticated environment. To overcome this drawback we propose detector with iterative thresholding of frequency samples relative standard deviation. Applying proposed approach will ensure reliable detection of multiple targets regardless of dynamic range of signals and noise power.
