Development of an approach to mediumterm volumetric scheduling of production based on the sliding windows method

Abstract

This article is devoted to the development of an approach to the volumes redistribution of production and shipments for the purpose of improving the objective functions value for a medium-term production plan built by using the sliding window method. Disadvantage of sliding window method is marked, which consists in excluding the options for long-term accumulation of production from consideration, and proposes an approach to solving this problem, which made it possible to significantly reduce the proportion of contractual obligations not planned for fulfillment.
