The article summarizes the results of a practical study on the problem of automating the incident management process in the IT - infrastructure of an educational organization. Implementing an incident management system can lead to a complete overhaul of all processes. The cost-effectiveness of implementing the system in an educational organization can be reflected in saving working time when processing requests for maintenance.
