Dynamic Policy Based Replication on the Grid

Abstract

In this paper we present a new grid replication concept based on dynamic policies, that we aim as a concept to address the problem of large scale dynamic grid data repositories and a long lived data cycle. Based on the current tools and concepts available in nowadays grid solution landscape, we introduce the concept of dynamic policy based replication on grids. We also present a basic architecture based on Globus components that we aim to develop as a next step of this work.
