For our M/G/1 retrial queueing model, supplementary variable method is a suitable one for solving Some main reliability and queueing indexes, such as failure frequency, the reliability function of the server and the mean queue number are obtained in the steady-state condition. Besides, we give numerical examples to illustrate the effect of two parameters on several queueing performance characteristics.
