Abstract

Within modern manufacturing, digital solutions are needed to optimize and aid shop floor processes. This includes user-centered technologies that can be appropriately integrated into factory environments to assist in the efficiency of manufacturing tasks. In this paper, we present a dynamic system to support the electrical wiring assembly of commercial aircraft. Specifically, we describe the system design, which aims to improve the productivity of factory operators through the integration of wearable and mobile solutions.
