Abstract

Dielectric periodic structure is proposed to extract the microwave energy from an 8.4-mm relativistic magnetron. Simulations made by means of a 3D FDTD method reveal that this structure selects and transmits the fundamental frequency, and whereas it rejects the electromagnetic waves at harmonic frequencies.
