Abstract

Demands for high-speed wireless communication system are increasing due to society rapidly require a cloud system. Public cellular communication systems are making more than 1 Gb/s throughput in the 5G system. A recent society with convenient communication tools highly depends on high-speed wireless communication. On the other hand, it is not easy for passengers on the high-speed train to communicate reasonably high speed. We are proposing a new communication system with a combination of radio over fiber technology and W-band millimeter wave wireless communications. We will describe the system architecture and demonstration results.
