Abstract
This research is presented the comparison of geometry-shaped monopole antennas having three models those are rectangle, triangle and circle-shaped. Each proposed antenna has been the step-shaped etching technique on ground plane to enlarge bandwidth. These antennas were designed by CST program to simulate the variety of result such as reflection coefficient, gain and radiation patterns then the simulation results were compared with measurement results. The both rectangle and triangle-shaped antenna have been supported the application of frequency range of IEEE 802.15.3a except the circle-shaped antenna. The radiation patterns of proposed antenna are Omni directional with average gains of 3.93 dBi (rectangle) and 3.84 dBi (triangle). The circle-shaped antenna has two average gains low frequency of 3.36 dBi and high frequency of 4.19 dBi.
